Purpose

PerkinElmer is looking for high potential Human Resources Business Partner/Generalist in the United States, providing human resources support for several of our Analytical Solutions and Food teams based across the US. In this role you will collaborate with Business Leaders, HR team members along our global HR Centers of Excellence in Talent, Total Rewards, HR Technology & Analytics, and our HR Program Management Office to deliver the full scope HR activities for your client groups. The scope of this role spans a broad range of work, including but not limited to HR generalist duties, talent management, workforce planning, compliance, organization structure, employee engagement and development, total rewards, and employee relations.

Responsibilities

BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP AND SUPPORT

  • Understand the business strategy & priorities of our Global Business Units (GBLs) and Global Support Services (GSSs), the Global HR roadmap, as well as the external environment in order to execute and drive key HR priorities and processes, in partnership with the Global HR Centers of Excellence.
  • Lead the delivery of HR initiatives and projects across the teams and provide overall support throughout key processes including but not limited to Talent Management, Merit Planning, Open Enrollment, Analytics, Succession Planning, Diversity Initiatives, and Organizational Reviews.
  • Engage with leadership to provide them with appropriate coaching and guidance with regards to organizational changes, critical workforce capability requirements, talent development, and culture transformation.
  • Together with Site Leaders and the North America US HR team, create engagement amongst employees. Actively participates in engagement activities.
  • Effectively resolve employee relations situations within legal framework, as well as PerkinElmer Values. Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Supports managers in partnership with Talent Acquisition Partners on the recruitment of talent including interviewing and screening, candidate evaluations, and equity and compensation reviews to help ensure fair pay within the organization.
  • Assists colleagues, employees and managers as needed with the administration of leave of absences including FMLA, ADA and the interactive dialogue process.
  • In collaboration with the Total Reward team utilize the compensation and benefits programs/structures to maintain internal equitability and externally attract and retain talent.
  • Partner with the Global HR community and contribute to discussions and projects, when needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or needed

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources
  • Must be commutable to Woburn, MA for this hybrid remote role; in office 2-3 times per week.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Must be able to travel as business requires

The annual compensation range for this full-time position is $(83,000) to $(125,000). The final base pay offered to the successful candidate will be determined by factors including internal equity, work location, as well as individual qualifications, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
