What Human Resources Generalist are all about:
As a Human Resources Generalist, you will formulate partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and associates that reflects the business objectives of the organization. You will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of all HR personnel activities including, but not limited to, the successful development and implementation of policies and procedures; managing the recruitment function; compliance; and assisting managers in facilitating employee development.
A Day in the Life:
- Heavily involved in recruitment and interview process. Source, track, and schedule candidates using our ATS system.
- Administers health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes and terminations and ensures accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.
- Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of associates, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Accurate data mining and maintenance of HR System and running reports when needed.
- Facilitates on-boarding orientation process for all new hires and offboarding for terminated associates.
- Ensures HR compliance is all aspects of recruitment, hiring and on-boarding, labor matters, etc.
- Manages termination process and collection of resources.
- Works closely with management and associates to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
What you will need to succeed:
- Minimum of 5 years of HR and recruitment experience
- Experience with HR Systems and Applicant Tracking Systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, and policies.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bilingual a Plus, but not required.
