Senior Hr Generalist

Hopdov is an HR consulting firm in Boston. Our clients are primarily restaurant groups. We are looking for a full-time Senior HR Generalist who can assist with client relations, client management, client work, and overall project management.

This is a hybrid position. There will be some work from home, some work from an office, and some work at client sites. The individual in this position must have a car to drive to clients in the Boston and surrounding areas.

We are looking for an individual with experience in the following areas:

-Compilation of employee onboarding documents, assistance with organization of the overall onboarding process, and onboarding new employees;

-Providing HR training for managers;

-Conducting investigations of discrimination/harassment complaints,

-Handling employee complaints;

-Handling difficult conversations with employees and conducting employee terminations;

-Benefit management;

-Performance management including oversight of performance reviews and the overall review process;

-Drafting of offer letters, employee warnings, and job descriptions; and

-Experience and knowledge of payroll systems and payroll implementation.

We are looking for a motivated self-starter who is exemplary at writing and skilled at client relations/communications. The individual in this role must be skilled at project management, highly organized, detail oriented, professional, highly responsive, and act with a sense of urgency.

Compensation range: 80k - 120k depending on experience level.

Restaurant/hospitality experience desired but not required.
