Human Resources Generalist 2nd shift Job Description

Vutex seeks an energetic, collaborative Human Resources Generalistfor the 2nd shift (3 pm to 12 midnight) to assist with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources functions and duties. The HR Generalist will demonstrate a high level of trust, confidentiality, good judgment and collaboration. The HR Generalist will work closely with employees, managers and senior leaders of the organization. The position will have both strategic and tactical elements and the person may wear different hats.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Using best business judgment, oversee employee relations matters, including employee recognition programs, disciplinary matters, and exit interviews
• Advise employees on company policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws as well as company policies and procedures
• Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention
• Provide high-quality advice and service to Supervisors and leads on daily employee relations and performance management issues
• File/Scan documents into HRIS system.
• Make effective independent decisions and coordinates all day-to-day office functions
• Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other departments
• Walk thru of production floor
• Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments
• Additional duties as assigned

Job Qualifications – Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2 years' Human Resources experience preferred
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
• Microsoft Office knowledge intermediate to expert required
• Experience with ADP preferred
• Must have communication skills and be a collaborative, team player

Working Conditions:

• 3 pm to 12 am (midnight)
