Founded in 1982 as structural precaster, East Texas Precast has continued to grow in size, production capacity, quality, and capability to provide architectural finishes. Similarly, in recent years, we have gone beyond being just parking garage experts and are now journeymen in control buildings, manufacturing facilities, and building shells. The HR & LR Generalist is a dynamic and organized individual to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing talent acquisitions, overseeing the employee life cycle for plant employees, executing efficient filing processes, providing exceptional support to employees, and designing, implementing, and controlling learning initiatives and programs across the organization. This role requires a proactive individual with HR and training background and excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

· Process Owner of Learning

Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition:
  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes for plant employees, including job postings, screening, interviews, and onboarding.
  • Collaborate with hiring supervisors to understand staffing needs and ensure timely and effective recruitment.
  • Employee Life Cycle Management:
  • Oversee the entire employee life cycle for plant employees, from onboarding to offboarding.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal and employment details.
  • Filing Process Execution and Control:
  • Execute and maintain efficient filing processes related to employee records, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational requirements.
  • Regularly audit and control filing systems to guarantee accuracy and accessibility.
  • Employee Support:
  • Address and attend to employee inquiries, requirements, and needs in a timely and professional manner.
  • Act as a point of contact for HR-related matters and provide guidance to employees on policies and procedures.
  • Learning Initiatives and Program Management:
  • Design, implement, and control learning initiatives and programs across the organization to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and develop relevant programs.
  • HR Administration:
  • Assist in various HR administrative tasks, including the maintenance of HR-related databases and documentation, metrics and KPIs
  • Support the HR team in compliance-related activities and audits.
  • Support the company with People events such as Christmas Parties, Health fairs, Halloween, others.
  • This person can be trained as a Payroll backup.
  • Back up of reception.

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual (English & Spanish)
  • Preferible bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent in years of experience.
  • Desirable if the applicant has some experience in HR or training coordination or a similar role.
  • Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • SME in Learning Resources Organization.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Passionate about supporting people and culture.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with human resource policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs and goals.
  • Ability to keep information confidential.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Thorough understanding of all areas of information systems
  • We provide Payroll and HR Certification.

Experience:

  • Desirable if the applicant have some years of experience in HR or learning coordination or a related field. (1 or 2 years)
  • Experience in talent acquisition, employee life cycle management, and learning program design.
