The Hilton Minneapolis is looking for the next Human Resources Coordinator to join their growing team! Located in the heart of downtown, directly connected by covered skyways to the Minneapolis Convention Center and the Minnesota Orchestra. What will I be doing?
- Greet and assist incoming employees, managers, or candidates and provide accurate information. Listen and respond to inquiries made by individuals calling or walking into the HR office.
- Assists with the monitoring and follow up on time records, meal/break period reports, missed punches, etc. Works with Finance Department to communicate and resolve any pay discrepancies reported to HR. Acts as the property's backup payroll processor.
- Assists in the planning and execution of various HR programs and initiatives. Coordinates meetings, creates materials and presentations, and provides ongoing support and follow up in project timelines.
- Coordinates training initiatives in conjunction with department managers and HR managers by planning training sessions, new hire orientations, creating communications, and tracking participation and feedback.
- Answers questions, provides forms or directions to team members. Refers all complex situations to HR Director.
- Provides administrative assistance such as filing paperwork, creating, distributing and/or posting memos and flyers as assigned. Creates and maintains employee files.

A Human Resources Coordinator coordinates and implements department activities and projects, as assigned. Greets, assists and provides prompt and courteous service to guests, applicants and team members. Provides the Human Resources Management Team with administrative and clerical support to include word processing, typing, e-mailing, filing, data entry, faxing, copying, corresponding, answering telephones, processing mail, taking notes and/or dictation, and performing other general office duties. Specifically, you ill be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Coordinates new hire onboarding and bi-weekly orientation schedules
- Answers department telephone and assists internal and external guests with requests
- Greets internal and external guests when entering the department and assists with a variety of requests
- Maintains detailed filing system for the department
- Coordinates projects and activities, as assigned
- Maintain communication with departments involved in the assigned project/activity
- Performs administrative tasks, as assigned
