Human Resources Associate

TranSouth Logistics is a trusted 3PL warehousing provider of customized trucking, warehousing, and delivery solutions to companies of all sizes throughout the Southeastern United States. We are seeking a Human Resources Associateto join our team in Braselton, GA!

The Human Resources Associate will provide support in functional areas of Human Resources including, but not limited to, recruiting, employee relations, onboarding, payroll, generating reports, benefits, file maintenance, event planning and other administrative Human Resourcesprocesses.

Essential Duties and Accountabilities:

• Recruiting for warehouse & office personnel.
• Process employment activities include onboarding new hires, employment changes, terminations, payroll, benefit inquiries and file maintenance.
• Works closely with employees and management teams on routine Human Resources inquiries.
• Aids in preparation of human resource reports and presentations.
• Other HR Administrative Tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required or equivalent experience in an HR environment.
• Strong understanding of current HR trends, best practices, and employment legislation.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• A successful candidate will have extensive knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and recruiting technology platforms as well as strong organizational skills.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Physical Requirements

• Able to sit for long periods
• Able to sit in front of computer for long periods
• Able to move and lift items up to 40lbs occasionally
