Compensation: $84,400 - $116,050 (depending on experience)

Overview

The role of the Associate HR Business Partner will provide broad HR experience to a fast-paced and dynamic environment, motivated by being an employee champion and change agent who has a people-first mentality and seeks to continually enhance their HR knowledge. In this role, the HR Business Partner (HRBP) position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in the business unit. The position also formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization. Supports a good standing in the community, sustainable operations, and adheres to and upholds all company policies, safety standards and federal / state regulations.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Partners with business leaders and advises on goals and objectives that support the strategic growth of the business, consulting on all HR matters related to workforce planning, retention, talent management, engagement and rewards, employee relations, etc..
  • Drives and instills our cultural values, communicating our employee value proposition, and ensuring a culture of inclusion.
  • Champions and accelerates a culture of excellence in which people feel engaged and inspired to deliver top business results.
  • On a day-to-day basis, educates, coaches, and partners with management on employee performance and development goals.
  • Participates in company-wide programs and initiatives (e.g., salary review, performance planning, and organizational change) in partnership with HR teammates.
  • Provides timely information and/or education on HR matters to all levels of the company.
  • Analyzes and interprets trends and metrics; presents results and collaborates in the proactive development of solutions that enhance our organizational effectiveness and employee satisfaction through process, programs and/or policy design.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
  • Responsible for communicating and ensuring information flows upwards and downwards; adapting as needed to all audiences.
  • Other duties may be required and will be assigned as necessary.

Skills & Experience

  • A formal education & degrees are preferred, but we are most interested in your total experience & professional achievements.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience applying working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, talent management, employee and union relations, engagement and retention, diversity, and federal and state respective employment laws.
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills. Critical thinker with success in developing innovative solutions to achieve business goals.
  • Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, administrative practices related to those factors.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple complex issues & prioritize projects concurrently.to meet deadlines.
  • Solution-oriented, influential, hands-on leader with outstanding interpersonal & communication skills, both verbal & written.
  • Effective team player who can work collaboratively with and through others at all levels in an organization.
  • Proficient Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or related software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and customer service skills; organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Must have a high level of integrity and commitment to comprehend, interpret and comply with all applicable federal / state / industry compliance, record keeping, regulations and standards.
  • Due to the nature of this position, it is essential that the teammate be available to report to the designated work site / office and be ready to begin work when scheduled
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screening which may include a physical, background check, and drug screen.

stand, walk, sit, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl. Frequent exposure to walking on rocky, irregular surfaces that
may be muddy and in reduced lighting conditions, moving mechanical parts, electrical equipment, high and/or confined spaces, fumes,
airborne particles, outside weather conditions and explosives. Occasionally be able to lift and/or move up to fifty (50) lbs. independently
and tolerate moderate noise levels.
