Receptionist
Part-Time, 8:30-6pm Weekdays & Every Other Weekend
JOB SUMMARY: The Receptionist will facilitate the first impressions guests make when they arrive. Therefore, the position requires a pleasant personality, good communication skills and a customer-service oriented mind-set. An ideal candidate will have good phone/computer skills, organization skills, and the ability to work well with a team. The receptionist will greet visitors, coordinate resident transportation, maintain check in/check out & visitor logs, and direct phone and vendor traffic within the community. The receptionist should be a hands-on worker, willing to help clean and assist residents to their rooms, etc.
JOB DUTIES:
- Greet all visitors with a smile and helpful attitude.
- Direct all phone traffic and visitor traffic within the community with a customer-service oriented mind set.
- Answer phone calls, provide necessary information to caller inquiry, and relay any messages to the appropriate team member.
- Assist with organization and storage of records and files in paper and electronic format.
- Contact management and communicate with staff when tour opportunities arise.
- Maintain schedule and execution of resident transportation.
- Maintain visitor/vendor check in / check out logs.
- Schedule resident salon services and coordinate treatment schedules with providers.
- Provide general office support to the Executive Director, Wellness Director, Dietary Supervisor and Activities Director.
- Oversee office equipment including operation and maintenance of copier/fax/scanner and computers.
- Coordinate mail delivery in/out of the community engaging residents for assistance.
- Ensure that the visitor/common areas are clean.
- Expect to work with the management team on various projects as they arise.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES and JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma.
- 2 years of experience in customer service, retail, restaurant or other hospitality industry.
- Exceptional professional demeanor and telephone communication skills.
- Organized and willing to work with various computer systems or technology operations.
- Works efficiently and thoroughly, completing tasks and projects by the deadline.
- Must have a positive attitude and a strong understanding of customer service.
- Ability to work positively and productively with a team to accomplish a common goal.
- Willing to text or email from personal phone/device if needed.
- Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time and have reliable transportation.
- Drug screen, TB Screen, Covid19 test and criminal background check required.
