SalaryHanover Foods is seeking a highly motivated individual to be the face of our HR department. This individual will serve as the main point of contact for hourly union and non-union employees and potential applicants, well as assisting the Human Resources Department.
Duties:
Assists the HR Generalist is the daily HR functions.
Assists in maintaining employee records.
Greets visitors, employees, answers phones and
Coordinates, updates, and delivers the new hire on-boarding process.
Assists in tracking various employment activities, including absenteeism, sick leave/FMLA, and turnover.
Assists in ensuring the full life cycle employee transactions are performed (termination, transfers, promotions)
Works closely with Human Resources and employees to improve work relationships, build engagement and increase productivity and retention.
Requirements:
Strong customer service skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Basic knowledge of federal and state HR laws and regulations.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Able to perform multiple tasks and assignments.
Ability to establish credibility and be action oriented.
Requires basic skills using Microsoft applications as well as HR software (HRIS; Applicant Tracking Systems) to create, maintain and run reports.
Must be able to handle information with confidentiality.
Must work well with others as well as independently.
