The HR Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to the HR Strategist and human systems being built by KRT to best serve our clients. The Human Resource (HR) team will be ensuring legal compliance, implementation of the organization’s mission(s) and talent strategy for all companies in our portfolio. On-the-job-training provided for a candidate hungry to learn in a fast-paced-high-energy environment.
Essential Functions
- Supporting the development and implementation of programs, policies, and procedures in all areas of HR including:
- staffing, compensation, benefits, training & development, succession planning, employee relations, HRIT and compliance (FMLA, FLSA, ADA, EEOC, etc.)
- Partners with the Organizational Development & Training Strategist to provide training support.
- Partners with the Finance Strategist to support the overlap between HR/Accounting practices.
- Partners with the Executive Assistant to deliver high touch customer experience to all employees within the portfolio of companies we serve.
- Identifies challenges and opportunities to making KRT and our portfolio companies’ the best in class to attract and retain talent.
- Performs other duties as required.

Organizational Relationships
- Reports directly to the HR Strategist (dotted line to Executive Assistant)
- Partners closely with entire team
Required Education / Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required;
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
- Some work or internship experience preferred but not required.
Travel Requirements
- 10% to 20% travel
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
