Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our team. The Human Resources Assistant will provide administrative support to our HR director and assist with various HR functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR practices and be familiar with employment labor laws.
Responsibilities: - Assist with the recruitment and onboarding process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews - Maintain employee records and ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date - Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and terminations - Support HR projects and initiatives, such as talent acquisition and strategic planning - Handle employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and benefits - Assist with FMLA administration and ensure compliance with applicable laws - Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information
Skills: - Strong knowledge of employment labor laws and regulations - Proficiency in HR software systems such as PeopleSoft or similar HRIS platforms - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
