Minneapolis Radiation Oncology has an opening for a full-time Human Resources Assistant to support our Human Resources Manager and other office personnel with a variety of projects and clerical tasks. Hours are 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. This position will work full-time in our Edina Business Office during training for at least the first 90 days. After that, this position will have the option to work a hybrid schedule of 3 days in the office and 2 days per week remotely after successfully completing training.
This is an entry-level Human Resources position and our ideal candidate is open to H.R. administrative, benefits and recruiting tasks and performing a variety of clerical duties such as filing, tracking, maintaining spreadsheets and assisting other departments as well.
Staffing-related duties will include processing new hires, transfers and terminations, scheduling and participating in the interview process, coordinating job offers, background checks and new hire paperwork. Benefit-related duties will include benefit enrollment for new hires and assisting with the annual enrollment process. Future involvement could include coordinating new hire training, assisting with employee relations, social media postings, and other Human Resources or Payroll specialties.
We are currently implementing UKG, an HRIS / new payroll system that this position will be heavily involved in setting up as well. This will require technical aptitude to learn a new system as well as basic Human Resources knowledge to understand requirements and new hire documents.
Hourly pay rate will be dependent on experience and qualifications.
Requirements:
- Prior Human Resources, office or administrative support experience given first preference.
- Pursuing Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and technical aptitude to learn other online systems such as DynaFile, DocuSign and UKG HR systems.
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to problem-solve and find efficient solutions independently, while working as part of a team.
