Human Resources Assistant (On-Site)

Spare Time Texas is a locally owned Texas-based entertainment company specializing in bowling, arcade, laser tag, dining, and events. The company first opened its doors in Temple, TX in 2013. The second center opened in Pflugerville, TX in December 2015. We strive to provide outstanding facilities, outstanding products and outstanding service at a fair price for the communities we serve.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

This is a non-exempt hourly position that reports to the Human Resources Manager. Duties will primarily be performed in the Pflugerville, Texas location, but may require an occasional trip to Temple, Texas. This role interfaces with center management, administrative staff, and team members.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILTIES:

· Assist with new employee onboarding

· Process hires, employee changes, and terminations in applicable programs and spreadsheets

· Prepare payroll in ADP Workforce Now for review and finalization by the HR Manager

· Enter new employees in E-Verify

· Assist managers with recruiting (applicant tracking, interview scheduling, and follow up)

· Act as an initial employee contact for general HR questions via email and phone

· Assist HR Manager during annual benefit, 401k, and supplemental insurance enrollments

· Perform other duties assigned by the Human Resources Manager

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

· Data Entry Skills

· Organization Skills

· Confidentiality, Thoroughness & Attention to Detail

· Perform several tasks concurrently with ease and accuracy

· Ability to operate calculators, computers and other general office equipment

· Intermediate user of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

· 1+ year of HR administration experience preferred

· Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing

· Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 38 per week
