The incumbent is responsible for building and maintaining active collection research files as well as the research elements of a computerized database of the National Gallery of Art's collection of paintings, sculpture, decorative arts, and time-based media. The activities support the goal of providing current and robust content about our collections to our audiences and advancing the National Gallery's strategic priority to become the nation's primary resource for art and creativity.
