SalaryWe are looking for a customer service-oriented Loan Officer Assistant to assist the team with providing a great experience to clients from prequalification to close! This person must be experienced with working with borrowers running credit, calculating income, and running LP and DU. You will also be gathering initial documentation and setting up a complete file to submit to Processing. This position requires someone who has the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks at once, and has excellent time management.
Compensation:$55,000+ DOE
Responsibilities:- The Loan Partner is responsible for assisting the Loan Officer with completed applications, lead follow-up, initial file set-up and management of files from start to close
- Up front, the LP is to put together the loan file, summarize the details, and prepare the file to be evaluated by the Loan Officer. This must be done within 2 business days of a complete app coming in. LPs are also to follow up on leads at LOs discretion
- Once under contract, LP is responsible for ensuring the file is ready to be disclosed accurately and ready to submit to processing with all initial documents. LPs must submit complete files for processing within 3 business days. The file must be set up so that the file can be submitted to UW within 3 business days by the processor
- A minimum of 3 years in the mortgage industry
- Experience in Encompass is preferred but not required
- Experience running LP and DU
- Experience pre-qualifying and structuring a loan file
- Positive and team player attitude
- Customer service-centric and passionate about providing an exceptional level of service
