We are looking for an HR Administrator to support our Human Resources department. You will act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and external partners.The Human Resources Administrator will report directly to the HR Manager. The HR Administrator is responsible for onboarding, training, employee relations and benefits. Our ideal candidate has experience with HR procedures and can juggle various administrative tasks in a timely manner.

Salary: $35.00-$40.00/hour (depending on experience)

  • Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts and helping resolve work-related problems.
  • Interpret and explain human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards and regulations.
  • Process hiring-related paperwork
  • Advise managers on organizational policy matters such as equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment, and recommend needed changes.
  • Perform difficult staffing duties, including dealing with understaffing, refereeing disputes, firing employees, and administering disciplinary procedures.
  • Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives.
  • Analyze data to inform operational decisions or activities.
  • Maintain legal compliance, respond to legal inquiries and act as company representative for legal proceedings.
  • Work with legal counsel on immigration matters.
  • Create regular reports and presentations on HR metrics (e.g. turnover rates)
  • Assist payroll department by providing relevant employee information (e.g. leaves of absence, sick days and PTO)
  • Arrange travel accommodations
  • Participate in HR projects

  • High school degree or GED required / Associates or Bachelors degree preferred
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certificate preferred
  • Experience with HR software, like HRIS or HRMS
  • Payroll experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word required
  • Thorough knowledge of labor laws
  • Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects
  • Strong phone, email and in-person communication skills

The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $35.00/Hr. - USD $40.00/Hr. depending on experience and qualifications.
