Honda and Toyota of Seattle are looking for a Payroll Administrator!
We are seeking a full-time Payroll Administrator to join our team in Seattle, WA.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities include:
Payroll:
- Process weekly and semi-monthly payroll and utilize internal systems to process new hires, terminations, status changes, tax changes, deductions, commissions, rate changes, and pay adjustments.
- Oversee electronic payments and distribution of payroll checks.
- Act as the primary contact for all employee and manager inquiries related to payroll.
- Manage and update PTO.
- Prepare and distribute W-2s.
- Submit and file all State and Federal payroll taxes.
- Produce reports to upper management upon request.
- Perform other projects as assigned.
Human Resources:
- Create overtime reports.
- Manage monthly birthday, anniversary, and welcome cards.
- Handle employment verifications.
- Perform other projects as assigned.
- Work directly with HR Manager.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a payroll specialist or similar role.
- Familiarity with payroll processes.
- Working knowledge of payroll systems.
- Exhibits tact and proper judgment under pressure and in sensitive situations.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Excel, Word Outlook, and other applicable computer software.
- An analytical mind with good math skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail is imperative.
- Exceptional work ethic and positive team attitude.
