Summary:
International industrial and municipal valve manufacturing company located in Hanover, Maryland is seeking a candidate to fill an Human Resource Generalist/ Accounting Support role. We are looking for someone who can multitask, has a strong attention to detail, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
This is a dual role, that combines Human Resource and Accounting responsibilities.
Human Resources
• Payroll administration
• Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of Human Resources files and records.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date attendance records
• Candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding/offboarding
• Perform reference and background checks
• Create and maintain employee physical and digital files
• Coordinate annual performance reviews
• Liaison between management and employees for disciplinary and corrective actions
• Maintain working knowledge of HR policies, and regulations
• Perform other duties as assigned
Accounting Support
• Assist with supplier invoice entry
• Assist with the processing customer invoices for daily shipments
• Assist with accounts receivable collections
• Assist with fiscal year end audits
• Assist with annual stock take
• Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
• Associates Degree in Human Resources, Business, Accounting, or related field preferred
• A minimum of 5 years of Human Resource, Accounting Support experience
• Must be detail oriented
• Must be highly organized, and work well independently and as part of a group
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and thrive in a fast-paced office environment.
• Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe
• Team player with a strong work ethic and "can do" attitude
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Must be a self-starter, and dependable

Founded in 1993 in Maryland and Finland, RF VALVES, INC. was built on an idea for a better pinch valve. Two entrepreneurs – Esko Riikonen and Eric Feldmann - patented an innovative expansion fold elastomer tube that lasts 2 to 4 times longer than traditional tubes and a pinch valve design that allows for in-line tube replacement, cutting maintenance time by 75%. Engineers in a wide range of industries were thrilled with the valve’s performance, and still are today.
As a result, RF VALVES grew to dominate the American, Asian, and European pinch valve markets. But there was still more to come: In 2010, RF VALVES united with AVENG, and its expertise in steel, engineering, manufacturing, mining, public infrastructure, and water treatment allowed RF VALVES to expand its product line to include air release and vacuum preventing valves (Vent-O-Mat) and knife gate valves (RF-SKG and RF-Insamcor). This partnership gave RF VALVES the backing of a major corporation while allowing the company to expand into African and Australian markets.
