Position Overview: The HR Generalist will provide comprehensive HR support to employees and management, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. This role will also support identifying, recruiting, and onboarding top talent.
Key Responsibilities:
The HR Generalist duties include and are not limited to:
Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:
- Source candidates using various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess candidate qualifications and cultural fit.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and stakeholders.
- Manage candidate communication throughout the recruitment process, providing timely updates and feedback.
- Facilitate the hiring process, including conducting background checks and coordinating new hire orientation.
Employee Relations and Engagement:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries, policies, and procedures.
- Address employee concerns and grievances promptly and fairly, escalating issues as necessary.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and activities to promote a positive work culture.
- Assist in developing and implementing HR policies, programs, and initiatives.
HR Administration and Compliance:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
- Prepare and distribute HR-related documents, such as employment contracts, offer letters, performance evaluation forms, etc.
- Maintain and manage the Organizational Training Program.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations.
- Assist with HR audits and compliance reviews as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- A minimum of two (2) to five (5) years of proven experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of recruitment processes and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport and establish effective working relationships with employees at all levels.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP).
- Experience working in government contracting or a similar field.
- Familiarity with HRIS, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and other HR software platforms.
Compensation:
The compensation for the HR Generalist/Recruiter position at ServBeyond aligns with the national average for similar roles in the United States. This includes a competitive base salary, a comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for performance-based bonuses or incentives. The starting salary for this role will be between $60,000 and $80,000 annually.
