- Source candidates using various channels, including job boards, social media, and employee referrals.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess candidate qualifications and cultural fit.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and stake holders.
- Manage candidate communication throughout the recruitment process, providing timely updates and feedback.
- Facilitate the hiring process including conducting background checks and coordinating new hire orientation.
Employee Relations and Engagement:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries, policies, and procedures.
- Address employee concerns and grievances promptly and fairly, escalating issues as necessary.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and activities to promote a positive work culture.
- Assist in developing and implementing HR policies, programs, and initiatives.
HR Administration and Compliance:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
- Prepare and distribute HR related documents, such as employment contracts, offer letters, performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations.
- Assist with HR audits and compliance reviews as needed.
- Administer all mandatory and voluntary leaves of absence.
- Manage all workers compensation claims.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
- 2-5 years of HR Generalist experience or a similar role.
- Solid experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office Suite. ADP experience a plus.
- Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems, iCIMS a plus.
- Strong understanding of recruitment processes and best practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build rapport and establish effective working relationships across departments.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- SPHR, PHR, or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
