Job Description

The HR Generalist position is an on-site role, supporting operations. The HR General will be responsible for the day-to-day human resource activities including training, team member relations, administration, performance management and reviewing needs of the facility from an HR standpoint.
Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Develop and execute strategies to foster a work environment where employees feel valued, engaged, motivated, and a sense of belonging
- Partner with department managers and supervisors to support the teams and the business
- Support complete team member lifecycle
- Conduct team member onboarding & orientation
- Ensure new hire training and annual training has been completed for all team members
- Lead Performance Management Administration, including quarterly feedback sessions and annual reviews
- Support Human Resource Managers with Manager & Leadership Trainings
- Consult with managers on discipline and related investigatory responsibilities for team member issues
- Manage leaves of absence
- Responsible for data entry and management within our HRIS system (Payright)
- Promote HR programs, including DEI initiatives
- Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies
- Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and turnover rates
- Administer compensation and benefit plans
- Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes
- Maintain personnel files and records in electronic and paper form
- Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits and
General
- Regulations require that incumbent be at least 21 years of age and able to obtain and maintain marijuana work credentials, if applicable
Education/Experience:
- 3+ years of Human Resources related experience
- BS degree business, HR or related field is preferred
- Exceptional project management skills
- Exceptional verbal communication and people skills
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Cannabis experience is desired
- Understanding of general Human Resources policies and procedures
- Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
- Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems
- Aptitude in problem-solving
- Demonstrated cultural competence and a proven ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, showing sensitivity and respect for different perspectives, values, and customs
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and project management skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Proven experience successfully handling employee relations and performance management issues
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
