Market Description
Provides support in functional areas of a human resources department, which include payroll, recruitment and employment, personnel records, employee and/or labor relations, job evaluation, compensation management, benefits administration, organization development and training. Looking for 1-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area or HR education. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
As an HR and Payroll Coordinator, you will help support the HRIS admin tasks that include payroll. These tasks include employee paperwork, data tracking, reporting, basic recruiting activities, helping with payroll processing and supporting other people administration duties.
This role is an entry level HR admin position with HR career path availability based on performance and business growth. It is strongly preferred that you have payroll experience and have been part of the HR and/or recruiting process in some way. This is not a remote position, required to be onsite in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
We are on the back end of implementing a new HRIS system, Paycom. This role will become a Paycom lead person that will have full access to the system to be a support partner for leaders and employees.

Responsibilities
- Helping support employee data and tracking.
- Supporting payroll tracking and processing.
- Employee communication.
- Recruiter and applicant tracking admin
- HR projects.
- A member of the activities committee.
- Support HR Director in daily, weekly and monthly tasks.
Requirements
- Some HR course work or field HR experience.
- Attention to detail.
- Able to stay focused, on task and organized with information and processes.
- Ability to work with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and Word.
- Able to type at least 60 wpm.
- Good communication skills
Position Details
- Full time
- 830am-530pm (can be flexible with other hour combinations as well)
- Hourly position, salary will depending on HR/payroll experience, but again, this position is an entry level HR position with growth and development opportunities. Candidate must have HR/payroll experience to be considered for the role.
