ROLE AND PURPOSE:
- To provide clerical and administrative support for the Human Resources Customer Service department.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
Experience:
- General office skills
- Proficient typing, keyboarding, telephone and fil maintenance skills.
- Ability to use person computer and software to develop spreadsheets and word processing.
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal) including good telephone etiquette and Customer Service skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Ability to perform assigned tasks with minimal supervision
- Bilingual (Spanish), preferred.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Provide exemplary Customer Service to all district employees on first level humanresources issues
- Complete verification of employment requests
- Complete the on-boarding process during new hire orientations
- Respond to incoming human resources email and the Customer Service queue
- Process records requests, change of address requests, change of name requests, etc.
- Work extensively with the TEAMS district program
- Prepare reports and perform other related administrative duties as required and/or needed.
- All other duties as assigned by Director or Manager.
