Murry’s Inc, (A division of the MBC Companies) a manufacturer and distributor of frozen food products located in Lebanon, Pennsylvania is currently seeking a HR Generalist-Payroll Specialist. This is a dual role for someone who is excited by the ever-changing and challenging world of Human Resources
Responsibilities
- Maintaining necessary payroll records in a timely and accurate hourly payroll- includes all interface and payroll processing activities for multiple locations. Procure all required accounts to establish payroll in new geographic regions as company adds new locations.
- Act as day-to-day liaison with employees for payroll-related processing. Respond to employee inquiries and take appropriate action utilizing ADP Workforce Now to ensure timely review and resolution of issues.
- Maintain employee payroll procedures and business process documents. Ensure quality controls in the payroll process and update documentation.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management and offboarding.
- Administer benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans and paid time off.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integration in HR systems.
- Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary action.
- Collaborate with managers to identify staffing needs and assist with talent acquisition efforts.
- Stay up to date with HR trends and best practices to ensure compliance and improve HR processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Business Administration, or related field, and five years or more of related customer service or employee administration experience.
- Proficiency in HR software systems such as Kronos, Paychex, or other human capital management platforms (company uses ADP Workforce Now)
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective employee relations, Bilingual Spanish a plus
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Proven experience in Human Resources programs (Conflict Management, Benefits Administration, Safety, and Training)
- Demonstrated payroll processes and procedures.
