SUMMARY
HR Professional that can assist in full employee lifestyle responsibilities, inclusive of recruiting, employee relations, training, and performance management. This position will be responsible for aligning the business objectives with employees and management across the Corporate team. The position will build partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to employees that align with the business objectives of the organization. Unique role, with time dedicated to supporting HR Communications, Organization Development, HR Budget in addition to being the HR Business Partner to our Corporate Finance, IT and Engineering teams.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):
HR Business Partner:
- Conducts weekly meetings with respective business units, providing HR guidance when appropriate
- Identifies and analyzes trends to develop solutions, programs, and policies to drive change
- Responsible for resolving complex employee relations matters. Conducts thorough and objective investigations
- Maintains knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, mitigating legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance
- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance, including coaching, career development, performance improvement actions
- Works closely with management and employees to drive positive culture, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
- Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation
Organizational Development: Support the OD Leader & Function as follows:
- Annual performance review program - tracking employee activity, compliance, reporting
- Employee recognition program - managing content, updates, compliance, reporting
- Learning Management System (LMS) - maintaining content and granting access and role-based user permissions
HR Communications:
- Communicates Develop and distribute HR communications across internal and external platforms; tasks may include creating and publishing company newsletters, calendars, emails; maintaining organizational charts
- Implements, conducts, facilitates, and/or analyzes results of employee morale and retention initiatives such as incentive programs, stay interviews, career development meetings, employee surveys, and exit interviews
- Promotes and attends special events and functions; promotes and reports on HR milestones and activities such as goals and projects; community service activities; and new hires, promotions, retirements; and summaries of perks and benefits
- Arranges for photography for employee headshots and special events
HR Budget:
- Support in processing of invoices through Accounts Payable
- Providing follow up to vendors – submittal through payment processing
- Tracking of invoices received, and payments made
- Monthly reconciliation to annual budget
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

- Knowledge of HR principles, industry practices, and legal requirements related to HR policies
- Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies
- Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors
- Must have ability to multi-task and take direction from more than one person and be a team player
- Excellent interpersonal, counseling, and coaching skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 5 years of Human Resources experience
- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational structure, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Prior experience in a communications role required with coaching, counseling, or leadership experience highly desired

Pay: $42,362.98 - $70,000.00 per year
