Reviews electronic time clock for completeness and accuracy and contacts various department supervisors for missed time and inaccurate pay code entries.
Prepares payroll for 300+ hourly union employees

Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Collaborates with managers to assess employment needs, and participates in recruiting efforts to identify, interview, hire and train qualified candidates; monitors career-path program.
Conducts background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
Oversees auditing processes in multiple departments to ensure policies and procedures are being followed and to provide clarification on subjects that may be misunderstood.
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
