JOB OVERVIEW: The HR Generalist is responsible for assisting with the administration of all HR initiatives, including benefits and retirement programs, HRIS management, onboarding/offboarding, performance management and other HR admin duties. This is a full-time salaried (exempt) position working 40 hours per week (or more if needed). The incumbent will also provide other HR related services as needed. Preference given to someone in Utah county, though this role will be mostly remote (90%+)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  

• Assist in ensuring the accuracy of all benefits enrollments in the HRIS (ADP) to provide vendors with accurate eligibility information.
• Assist employees via email, phone and company communication channels with their questions.
• Process and administer all leave-of-absence requests and disability paperwork: medical, personal, disability and FMLA.
• Effectively interpret FMLA and ADA implications as they relate to leaves of absence/disabilities.
• Generate reports and analyze data to support decision-making and compliance.
• Assist with employee performance management programs.
• Provide assistance in other areas of Human Resources as needed.
• Updating and entering employee information into HRIS system.
• Assisting with onboarding and offboarding duties.
• If local, mail pick up and sorting from office in American Fork.

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Familiarity with HRIS (ADP preferred).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:  

• 2+ years experience in Human Resources

PREFERRED EDUCATION:  

• Associate’s degree in HR or related field preferred.
• SHRM-CP or PHR 

COMPENSATION: $58-62,000 DOE

TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

90% Remote; If you are local to UT county then mail pick up from office will be required. must maintain a private, professional work environment, free from distractions and be available for virtual meetings during business hours (for example, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm in your time zone).
