Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on data-driven analysis.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure consistent implementation of behavior support plans and strategies.
- Provide ongoing training and professional development for teachers and staff regarding behavior management techniques.
- Collect and analyze behavioral data to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make necessary adjustments to ensure student progress.
- Support students in developing social skills, self-regulation, and adaptive behaviors to enhance their overall educational experience.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in applied behavior analysis (ABA) and related fields.
Requirements:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
- Master's or doctoral degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field.
- Experience working with children or students with diverse behavioral needs in an educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, teachers, and other school staff.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating leadership qualities when necessary.
As an employee of Sunbelt, you will be paid weekly and offered benefits if you are working a minimum of 30 hours per week.
