Job Overview:
The HR/Payroll Generalist will play a key role in supporting HR initiatives and managing payroll processes. This position requires a versatile individual with a strong understanding of HR functions, payroll processing, and compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and oversee the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Process new hires, terminations, and status changes in the HRIS and payroll systems.
- Manage benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and communication with employees.
- Conduct new employee orientations and assist in the development of onboarding programs.
- Respond to employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and payroll matters.
- Assist in the implementation and enforcement of HR policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with management on employee relations matters and participate in conflict resolution.
- Keep abreast of changes in employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Support HR projects and initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in HR and payroll administration.
- Proficient in HRIS and payroll software; ADP or similar experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
