Talent Management at Humanim is a well-rounded HR Generalist. Reporting to the Human Resources Director, the position supports the organization as a member of the Human Resource team by performing a broad range of HR functional duties. The HR Generalist will be primarily responsible for day-to-day activities in the areas of employee/ manager relations, performance management, progressive discipline, and HR compliance including, FMLA, ADA, and EEOC, and must be well-versed in the investigatory process. Responsibilities shall be carried out paying particular attention to fostering positive partnerships to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflect the organizational objectives and move them forward. The incumbent will maintain an effective level of business literacy about the organization’s financial position, its mid-range plans, its culture, and its competition in the talent arena while practicing high levels of confidentiality and discretion deploying sound judgment with all sensitive matters.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required. SHRM Certification a plus.
- A minimum of three (3) years of HR Generalist experience in direct service to employee and managers.
- Demonstrated proficiency with data entry, document review, and various systems including HRIS, and MS Office Suite and the ability to quickly adapt to the organization’s Talent Management systems and workflows.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution, technical, verbal, and written communication, and organizational skills; ability to adapt and prioritize for timely execution of duties.
- Thorough working knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations and their applicability in the organization’s workplace.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team on multiple priorities in a professional manner maintaining the utmost professionalism and confidentiality.
- Flexibility and willingness to assist as needed in HR.
