We are seeking candidates for a Human Resources Generalist role to work during regular business hours. Once training has been completed, this role will be hybrid with 3 days in-office and 2 days remote. What an HR Generalist will do:
- Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions
- Collaborate with departmental managers to understand the skills and competencies required for openings
- Conduct and acquire background checks and employee eligibility verifications
- Implement new hire orientation and employee recognition programs
- Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including compensation, benefits, and leave
- Execute disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development
- Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff
- Participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
What it takes to become an HR Generalist:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
- 1+ years of Human Resource management experience
- Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
- Ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems #gethirednow
