Job Title : HR Generalist

Location : Oakdale, MN 55128

Duration : 9+ Months contract + possibility of extension/FTE

Pay range: $30.75 to $32.00 hourly.

JOB SUMMARY

Position Summary:

The HR Generalist is responsible for ensuring the day-to-day functioning of Human Resources. The HR Generalist ensures all government regulations, policies, procedures, and practices are followed in the most effective manner possible.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Compliance (AAP, FLSA, posting requirements, etc.)
• Recruiting and staffing support; manage recruitment tools.
• Employee onboarding, development, needs assessment, and training.
• HRIS administration
• Benefits Administration (monthly billing, reporting, etc.)
• Reporting (internal/external to HR)
• Manage HR page on Company portal.
• Maintain Org Charts
• Learning Management System (LMS) administration
• Process Improvement (staffing, HR administration)
• Performance Management and systems improvement
• Policy development and documentation.
• HR communications.
• Work on special assignments as they arise.

• Approachable and responsive resource able to connect with employees at all levels.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently meet specific, time sensitive tasks within a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable with high volume workload and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong internal and external customer service focus, with a genuine desire to assist others.
• Strong project management and complex problem-solving skills
• Strong presentation skills and facilitation experience to effectively deliver a variety of HR-related training programs to groups of managers / colleagues.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• Minimum 2 years of experience in HR
• International experience a plus
• Proficiency with HRIS systems (ADP preferred)
• Proficiency with MS office (strong Excel skills preferred)
