Job Title : HR Generalist
Location : Oakdale, MN 55128
Duration : 9+ Months contract + possibility of extension/FTE
Pay range: $30.75 to $32.00 hourly.
JOB SUMMARY
Position Summary:
The HR Generalist is responsible for ensuring the day-to-day functioning of Human Resources. The HR Generalist ensures all government regulations, policies, procedures, and practices are followed in the most effective manner possible.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Compliance (AAP, FLSA, posting requirements, etc.)
- Recruiting and staffing support; manage recruitment tools.
- Employee onboarding, development, needs assessment, and training.
- HRIS administration
- Benefits Administration (monthly billing, reporting, etc.)
- Reporting (internal/external to HR)
- Manage HR page on Company portal.
- Maintain Org Charts
- Learning Management System (LMS) administration
- Process Improvement (staffing, HR administration)
- Performance Management and systems improvement
- Policy development and documentation.
- HR communications.
- Work on special assignments as they arise.

- Approachable and responsive resource able to connect with employees at all levels.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently meet specific, time sensitive tasks within a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable with high volume workload and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong internal and external customer service focus, with a genuine desire to assist others.
- Strong project management and complex problem-solving skills
- Strong presentation skills and facilitation experience to effectively deliver a variety of HR-related training programs to groups of managers / colleagues.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum 2 years of experience in HR
- International experience a plus
- Proficiency with HRIS systems (ADP preferred)
- Proficiency with MS office (strong Excel skills preferred)
