Our greatest asset has been, and will continue to be, our people. We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of HR Coordinator in our U.S. Onshore Resources & Carbon Management (ORCM) HR team based in Houston, Texas.
Job Responsibilities:
Inputs, maintains, audits, extracts, manipulates, and analyzes confidential HR data from PeopleSoft, Taleo and Talent
Management Systems. Runs periodic data audits of PeopleSoft HRIS data to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
Recognizes variations, deviations, and corrections from the data and implements corrective actions, as needed.
Initiates changes to the PeopleSoft HR information system associated with various personnel events such as job or organization changes and salary actions.
Interacts with IT on workflow matters related to new hires, transfers and terminations.
Creates and updates organizational charts/distribution lists.
Responsible for processing monthly headcount.
Organizes and coordinates meetings, trainings and luncheons as needed.
Prepares and tracks employee recognition awards for weekly Leadership Team meetings.
Supports staffing tasks such as creating job requisitions in Taleo, tracking new hire Onboarding progress and start dates, initiating relocation for transfers, and preparing internal transfer/promotion letters for the Business Unit.
Responds to general employee inquiries on HR policies (vacation service credit, education assistance, short term disability, and employment verifications).
Administers and tracks short term disability, education assistance, and employee recognition awards.
Runs periodic data audits of PeopleSoft HRIS data to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
Minimum High School Diploma and at least 5 years of applicable industry experience in a Human Resources or business reporting role.
Ability to handle confidential data with a high level of professionalism.
Strong Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills. Ability to manipulate and analyze data using pivot tables, v -lookups and Excel formulas.
Proficient at understanding, correcting, and extracting large volumes of data from PeopleSoft or other HRIS records.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational, planning, and priority setting skills.
Proven ability to work independently on multiple projects concurrently with time sensitive deadlines.
Must demonstrate flexibility when work assignments or priorities change and a willingness to do whatever it takes to ensure the overall effectiveness of the HR function.
Ability to prepare correspondence and documents with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Be resourceful in accomplishing work tasks and obtaining needed information.
Ability to interact in a helpful, courteous and professional manner.
Demonstrated sense of urgency and level of energy required to handle a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated reliable work ethic and desire to put in extra time and effort to ensure effectiveness.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior knowledge and experience with Spotfire.
