ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking for Hotel Housekeepers who are passionate about service to join our Housekeeping Team at Harrah's Hotel! Harrah's Hotel is a luxury Four Diamond 450 room hotel located at the heart of the city. If you have the skills to provide friendly, excellent service, and a clean environment for every guest every time, apply today!
MORE SPECIFICALLY YOU WILL:
- Clean rooms during assigned shift including making beds, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpet and cleaning bathrooms
- Maintain an upbeat and positive demeanor in all interactions as well as maintaining composure in handling difficult interactions
- Comply with Louisiana Gaming Commission Regulations and procedures
- Comply with company regulations, policies, and procedures
- Act as a role model to other employees and always presents oneself as a credit to the Company and encourages others to do the same
- Perform all other related and compatible duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
- Must pass a background check and drug test
- Must have reading and writing skills sufficient to comprehend/complete a variety of documents
- Ability to work in a flexible schedule; must allow for changes in assignments, and priorities depending on identified needs of the company
- Previous experience preferred
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to work with cleaning chemicals
- Must be able to use elevators and stairs frequently and work in a high-rise hotel
- Must be able to push and pull 150-pound carts
