Hotel Manager

TheHotel Manager is responsible for day-to-day operations of Front Desk and Pool.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures quality guest service through Front Desk operations and Pool.
• Sets the appropriate standards to maintain guest expectations.
• Interacts with guests to maintain quality assurance.
• Provides overall leadership to Hotel Operations Department.
• Controls daily revenue to optimize financial potential
• Maintains open communication with all departments
• Controls daily revenue to optimize financial potential
• Carries out managerial responsibilities and etiquette in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include hiring, discipline, and separations, planning; assigning, scheduling and directing employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems

QUALIFICATIONS

All Employees must be knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or general education degree [GED].
• Three to five years related experience in Hotel Operations.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as rules, regulations and operating and maintenance instructions.
• Must possess the ability to write reports and correspondence.
• Must possess the ability to speak effectively.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
• Must possess the ability to compute rate, ratio and percent.
• Must possess the ability to deal with standardized and complex situations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Driver License

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Must be able to effectively communicate in English.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Must have Microsoft Office experience and basic computer skills.
