YOUR MISSION (The Job Description)
The food and beverage management team orchestrates the magic of the guest dining experience by leading a team of passionate individuals. Our goal is to create an ambiance where guests feel at home, and we always have something up our sleeve to impress, and our Resort Pool is sure to impress.
This position is responsible for managing and overseeing the Resort Pool, including all food and beverage and Cabana services, to ensure profitability and maximization of guest experience. This role is made for someone who can think about the big picture and guest details all that the same time. This person finds passion being present during service directly impacting guests and staff.

THE NITTY-GRITTY (The Essential Job Duties)
In helping you understand your role, the following is a list of your essential job responsibilities. Please keep in mind that this list is not all inclusive and that you may be asked to perform other job tasks by your supervisors/managers not listed below in the constant quest to provide extraordinary customer service experience for our guests:
- Train, train, train! It all starts here. You are responsible for building a team of talented individuals who never let the ball drop. This means creating and monitoring a consistent training program that keeps the team on their toes
- Monitor and track the flow of information coming to you from your superiors, resort side, culinary side and distribute consistently to your team
- This is not an office job! How can you know what is happening on the floor or with a guest if you are not present? Information should flow through you to the staff, not the other way around
- You handle guest issues directly, with confidence and achieve positive results. Although you lead your team through the process of troubleshooting and you empower them to resolve upset, you are still actively involved in the solution. Your presence to guests and team is actively seen on the floor
- Assist in coordinating with Marketing and Promotions to ensure successful execution of poolside activities
- Conduct monthly physical liquor and linen inventory to track Resort Pool cost of sales and ensure company assets are accurately accounted for
- Oversee, control financial pages of all areas in this department. Capability to budget, forecast and track expenses and revenues in all areas of the department
- Assist with researching, analyzing and making determinations regarding new equipment and amenities to ensure purchases are within budget, safety and service objectives
- Monitor inventory items to ensure proper control, the ability to facilitate guest's needs and maintenance of Resort Pool standards
- Assist with researching, evaluating, and implementing programs to promote facilities and profitability in all areas of the Resort Pool.
- Take all necessary precautions to maintain a safe environment and make intelligent decisions regarding the Resort Pool
- Monitor uniforms grooming to ensure standards and protocol are being practiced
- Comply with all safety and health department procedures, as well as all state and federal liquor laws

MUST HAVE'S
- Current, legal, and unrestricted ability to work in the United States
- Minimum 3 years of Food Beverage management experience in a resort setting
- Ability to compute accurate mathematical calculations
- Ability to communicate in English clearly and pleasantly with guests, management/co-workers, both in person and on the telephone
- Possess current, valid copies of all locally required work cards and certifications
- Proficient computer knowledge
RECOMMENDED NICE-TO-HAVE'S
- Previous management experience in Resort Pool operations or related area
- Associate or Bachelor's degree
THE WORKING CONDITIONS
- Lift up to 60 pounds of equipment or supplies, and move carts that weigh up to 100 pounds
- Work in an environment that is subject to varying levels of cold, heat, and sound. Incumbents are at times subject to hazards such as chemicals; proper safety precautions will be taken. This position occasionally works outside and is subject to all weather. Proper clothing is provided
- Stand for entire shift
- Balance, bend, carry, climb stairs and ladders, crawl, reach, squat, and twist. These actions are required in order to assist guests in the proper use of equipment and to perform other job duties
