Dental Associates of Delaware is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Front Desk Patient Coordinator. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience from the moment they walk in. Your exceptional communication and customer service skills, combined with a strong background in dental care, will contribute to the success of our practice.
Responsibilities:
1. Patient Reception: Greet and assist patients as they arrive, providing a warm and friendly atmosphere.
2. Appointment Scheduling: Efficiently manage and schedule patient appointments, ensuring optimal use of dental practitioner's time.
4. Administrative Tasks: Handle administrative duties, including new patient registration, insurance verification, and maintaining accurate patient records.
5. Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, staff, dentists, and vendors to address inquiries, transfer and deliver messages as appropriate, provide information, etc.
6. Collaboration: Work closely with dental professionals and support staff to coordinate patient care and maintain a cohesive team environment.
7. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing patient needs and concerns promptly and professionally.
8. Billing and Payments: Assist in processing payments, handling billing inquiries, and coordinating with the finance department as needed.
Qualifications:
1. Experience: Prior experience in a dental setting is required.
2. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
3. Customer Service: Demonstrated exceptional customer service skills.
4. Organization: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
5. Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
6. Tech Savvy: Proficient in using dental software and basic office applications.
