The Help Desk Technician is the primary initial point of contact for end user support for employees located at DAVIS’ main office and jobsite locations. The primary duties will include providing customer service, diagnosis and resolution of problems with PC and laptop hardware, software, network connectivity, printers, and mobile phones.
Here’s what you get to do:
- Provide support both in-person and remote, to include multiple offsite locations
- Remotely manage endpoints with automation tools
- Engage with a broad range of technologies including: AV equipment, cell phones and accessories, laptops and more.
- Document reported problems in the Help Desk database as well as troubleshooting processes and procedures in department wiki
- Develop documentation to support projects, programs and system configurations
- Manage and coordinate vendor activities such as PC and copier repair
Here’s who you are: (required)
- Minimum of one year of professional experience providing a wide range of helpdesk responsibilities including: Hardware, networking, email / windows servers / microsoft365, support and troubleshooting
- Professional experience utilizing Windows and MS Office including 365.
- Experience in a customer service centered role with the ability to effectively communicate technical information.
- Ability to work in Rockville, MD office daily from 6 a.m.-3 p.m.
- Able to lift technical equipment I.E.: monitors

- Bachelor of Science in Information Technology
- Prior accurate documentation in a support role
- Certifications in Net +, Security +, A+ and others
