IT Help Desk Technician

BWW Law Group, LLC, an "AV" rated real estate default law firm with offices located in Rockville, MD and Richmond, VA, is seeking a dynamic and motivated IT Help Desk Technician to join our Rockville, MD office. This position is full time (currently a hybrid position). Attention to detail is a must to succeed as part of our team! Our Rockville office is Metro accessible (Red Line - White Flint Station), and provides free employee parking.
Responsibilities:

• Provide quality desktop support to end users including support for hardware, software, printing and applications by following written procedures and applying past experiences to either walk the user through a solution and/or connect to their computer remotely to solve their case.
• Take ownership of user problems and be proactive when dealing with user issues.
• Provide necessary end user training and advice.
• Document and communicate status in a timely manner.
• Recognize patterns in cases to uncover related and new problems.
• Research and document solutions to newly identified problems and update written procedures accordingly.
• Assist with enforcing adherence to technology policies and comply with all security controls.
• Develop broad knowledge of the environment, applications, and technology used.
• Administers user accounts and Exchange email via Active Directory.
• Maintain software licensing and inventory of local IT assets including: desktops, laptops, peripherals and wireless devices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or prior experience in the IT field preferred. Recent graduates and veterans are encouraged to apply!
• Face-to-face, onsite and remote experience with end users.
• Strong customer service orientation with good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good problem solving and trouble-shooting skills.

Experience with working with:

• Windows Server 2016/2019, Active Directory.
• Windows 10,11.
• Exchange Server 2013/2016.
• Microsoft 365.
• Networking and Internet experience.
• Laptop/Desktop hardware repair and upgrades.
• Microsoft Office Suites 2013-2021, 365.
• VMware ESXi.
• Imaging Software.
