Help Desk Technician

We’re looking for someone to join our Helpdesk team at MITC! Help nurture and grow a fast paced, well-established team.

POSITION GOALS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• At MITC the Helpdesk provides remote troubleshooting, instruction, and software installation services to customers in both cloud hosted and customer hosted environments. HelpDesk Technicians use both customer service skills and technical knowledge in providing assistance. Support is provided by phone, email, and remote access.

This is an entry-level position, and no experience is required. Applicants with liberal arts degrees are encouraged to apply. Extensive training will be provided.

Job Description

HelpDesk Technicians work on an average of 3-4 service requests per day. Service requests are managed through an internal ticketing system.
Helpdesk team members work in pods of 3-5 team members where they can collaborate, troubleshoot, and work together as needed.

HelpDesk Technicians assist customers with a variety of questions and needs to ensure they are utilizing their MITC software effectively.

Day to day, problem solving and critical thinking are imperative to ensure a high quality of service is provided

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
No previous experience required as extensive training is provided.

• Salary Range: $47,000-$65,000 per year.

HYBRID WORKING
Even though MITC workforce is 90% remote, we still need to be thoughtful about where we have staff working. MITC embraced working-from-home before the pandemic. In office attendance is limited to monthly or annual team meetings and trainings. Frequency varies by team. For those employees who prefer an in-office environment, MITC operates an individual desk-sharing and meeting room plan with plenty of space for all. Each employee chooses their own schedule within these parameters.

MITC supplies a laptop, mobile phone with hotspot, and any necessary equipment.
Covid vaccination required for all MITC positions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
