Guest Services Representative/Front Desk

We are a locally owned Bed & Breakfast that has been open since 2007 and are looking for a Front Desk / Guest Services Representative

Summary:

A Front Desk Agent/ Guest Services Representative, checks guests in and out of their rooms and ensures guests have a satisfying and enjoyable stay.

Responsibilities:

• Manage online, phone and in-person room reservations
• Welcome guests, check them in, distribute room keys and explain the amenities
• Take payments
• Respond to guests’ issues and complaints in a friendly, timely manner
• Explain local amenities and attractions to guests
• Work with other staff members to ensure that all guest rooms meet standards and accommodate any special client needs
• Serve breakfast, Happy Hour service, clearing plates and silverware, and helping with any special requests or needs a guest may have.

Experience:

- Previous experience in a front desk or guest relations role is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with guests and staff.
- Proficient in using phone systems and computer software for reservations and guest management.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities to handle guest complaints or issues in a professional manner.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.

- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
