We seek a Front Desk Manager to provide exceptional customer service to our guests.
The candidate has a range of responsibilities to ensure high-touch Guest Services before, during, and after their stay, including:
- Monitoring daily bookings and inquiries
- Answering guest calls and inquiries regarding vacation rental reservations
- Collecting all relevant information and selecting a property that meets the guest's expectations
- Providing rental quotes and assisting guests with reservations
- Ensuring homes are prepared to check-in and brand standards are met
- Ensuring that guests have a seamless arrival experience
- Maintaining clear communication with guests
- Personally greeting guests during or after check-in
- Overseeing check-in and check-out procedures
- Having a comprehensive understanding of the property and its location, as well as knowledge of current area events, activities, and dining options, and recommending them to guests
- Making needed updates in the property management system, including processing payments, adjusting reservations, and updating rates and fees
- Handling guests' issues and complaints with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Addressing guest requests and complaints to maintenance, housekeeping, property managers, and other appropriate staff quickly and in a cost-effective manner
- Assisting in quality control of rentals with monthly and quarterly inspections
- Assisting with pre-arrival inspections when needed
The ideal candidate for the role has previous vacation rental guest service and reservations experience, excellent written and oral communication skills, a positive attitude, and a friendly personality. They should be able to stay calm and professional in stressful situations, possess computer and typing skills, and have excellent listening, comprehension, and organizational skills. Additionally, the candidate should be a team player who loves working with the public. The candidate should be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
The candidate should have reliable transportation, a laptop, and a cell phone.
The candidate should have an active Property Manager License or be able to obtain one within 2 months of employment. A degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or a relevant field is a plus.
