Physical Requirements:The essential job functions of this position require you to sit for extended periods
of time; attend meetings in various building across campus; maintain high levels
of concentration and mental attention; communicate effectively through verbal
mediums; work extensively on computers; limited lifting of objects.
Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. As an exempt position,
additional time as needed to accomplish work goals and meet deadlines.
The University of Kentucky is happy to announce the hiring to provide support in the Research Financial Services department. This position will service with focus and analytical review and education of compliant research administration support. This engaging and fulfilling position is important to the expanding portfolio of sponsored research activities.
This position provides expertise in the review, follow-up, and approval of all cost transfers related to sponsored projects. This position also provides financial subaward monitoring, audit coordination and completes special projects as needed. This position will require the ability to work independently as well as part of a team with various personnel within the department in addition to all those departments with extramurally sponsored programs.
Word, Excel, SAP, Tableau, Analytical skills, and sponsored projects expenditure guidelines.

Preferred Education/Experience:Successful candidates will have working experience in higher education and grants management; Technical reporting and analysis; Review and interpretation of legal agreements. Additionally, they will be self-motivated, have excellent communication and analytical skills, and be able to handle multiple projects as part of a diverse team in a dynamic environment.
