Key Role:
Join Booz Allen Hamilton’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Center of Expertise as a senior leader to drive the next generation of the company-wide Employee Community and Employee Resource Group portfolio. Lead a team of DEI practitioners and a cross-company group of volunteers in supporting 12 global Employee Communities. Drive strategy and manage budget, resources, and coordination of initiatives that support the company’s DEI goals. Pilot, evaluate, and maximize ROI for efforts in support of each underrepresented population. Oversee external flagship sponsorships, leadership positioning, and return on investment. Partner with Sector Strategic Integrators (HR) to identify senior leaders to serve each community and engage community leaders through a High Visibility Opportunity approach. Report to the Head of DEI, work together to craft thought pieces, and engage onsite at DEI events throughout the year. Identify external positioning for executives engaged in DEI work. Oversee selection and submission of industry DEI awards.
Basic Qualifications:
15+ years of experience with professional services
Experience with defining a DEI strategy and implementing impactful DEI initiatives in a corporate environment
Experience with public speaking to major audiences
Experience with supporting executive stakeholders in high stakes environments
Experience with leading enterprise-wide initiatives or portfolios
Experience with leadership in advocating for DEI initiatives and influencing stakeholders, including executives and team leaders, to integrate DEI into organizational strategy and culture
Experience with processing complex analytics and building actionable business strategies through executive-ready MS PowerPoint format
Experience with working across channels and organizations to lead a cohesive mission
Ability to influence stakeholders across the business in internal and external peer set and executive positions
Bachelor's degree

Knowledge of DEI best practices, applicable laws, and industry trends
Ability to operate in abstract environments and build organizations from scratch

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $153,400.00 to $285,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
