We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to support the managing member of an asset management firm based in Manhattan. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the organization by providing administrative support to the managing members.
Duties
- Manage executive calendars and schedule appointments
- Coordinate travel arrangements and itineraries
- Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations
- Assist with event planning and coordination
- Handle confidential information with discretion
- Transcribe and type documents as needed
- Maintain office supplies and inventory
- Provide general administrative support to the executive team
Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with DocuSign, QuickBooks, and Outlook Calendar is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of proofreading techniques for accurate document preparation
- Previous experience (3 to 6 years) in a clerical or administrative role is preferred
