Responsibilities: - Perform general ledger accounting and bookkeeping duties - Reconcile and analyze accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness - Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements - Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes - Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records - Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) - Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial information and support decision-making processes - Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities - Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions - Process payroll and maintain payroll records Skills: - Strong knowledge of general ledger reconciliation and account analysis - Proficiency in general ledger accounting principles and practices - Familiarity with corporate accounting procedures - Ability to perform account reconciliation and resolve discrepancies - Solid understanding of financial concepts, including GAAP - Experience with double-entry bookkeeping methods - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping - Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications (Excel, Word) - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
