Bookkeeper

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly-organized and detail-oriented individual to join our accounting team as a Bookkeeper at Aggieville Brewing Company in Manhattan, Kansas. As a Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records for our business. This is a full-time, individual contributor role with a competitive salary in the range of $40,000 to $60,000 per year.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements
• Record and reconcile payroll and sales commission payments
• Prepare monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheet, and cash flow statements
• Maintain and organize physical and digital records for audit purposes
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
• Communicate with vendors and clients regarding payment inquiries or discrepancies
• Handle any other general accounting tasks as assigned by the Accounting Manager or Controller

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
