Full Charge Bookkeeper

Description: Capstone ISG Inc., located in Virginia Beach, VA, seeks a highly motivated, career minded individual with a strong work ethic to fill the position of full-Charge Bookkeeper.
This is a hybrid position in the Virginia Beach area.

Position Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the organization
• Prepare and process all annual, monthly and quarterly reports
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents
• Assist with the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Conduct account analysis and ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Utilize accounting software to record transactions and generate reports
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years’ current experience as a full-Charge Bookkeeper
• Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles
• Data Entry minimum of 60wpm required;
• Associates Degree in Accounting preferred;
• Proficient in QuickBooks and QuickBooks on-line- Certification a plus;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office- Certification a plus;
