We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our office, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and creating a positive impression for our patients and visitors. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a dental or medical office setting and possess strong administrative and communication skills.
***Responsibilities***
- Greet patients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and assist with patient inquiries
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Coordinate patient check-in
- Verify insurance information and collect payments
- Assist with dental scheduling and ensure efficient flow of appointments
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and emails
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
***Requirements***
- Previous experience working in a dental office setting is preferred
- Knowledge in Dentrix
- Familiarity with dental office procedures and terminology is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of phone systems and ability to handle high call volumes
